Progress Toward Artificial Photosynthesis?

Link: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/03/070312152123.htm

Summary: In the process know as photosynthesis plants use light as their energy source. Chemist are also trying to be able to use CO2 as a carbon source for their synthetic reactions. Some Scientist have successfully activated CO2 for use in chemical reactions by using a special new type of metal-free catalyst:graphitic carbon nitride.
Questions: What is the chemical equation for photosynthesis?CO2 + 2H2O >> CH2O + O2 + H2O.

What organelles are involved in this process? The Chloroplast
List three things you learned from this article in your own words.I learned that scientist can make artificial CO2. I also learned the equation for photosynthesis. I also learned that sugar, oxygen, and energy is produced from this process.
What impact would the absence of this process have on the biosphere?Plants could't produce sugars that are beneficial to their health and the world so life would not survive.
