Climate Change Will Significantly Increase Impending Bird Extinctions

Link: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2007/12/071206094116.htm

Summary: As the habitats of many animals and plants change, shifting to higher elevations, driven by rising temperatures worldwide. Many animals and plant don't become accustomed to these changes but their habitats shrink to the vanishing point, and the species become extinct. Scientist predict that by 2100,climate change could cause up to 30 percent of land-bird species to go extinct worldwide. The dropping temperatures affect all life but the plants and animals are really going to be affected by these dropping temperatures.
Questions:
What are some ways this phenomenon could be stopped? If people and companies recycle and stop using harmful chemicals that cause the ozone layer to thin. Also if people pay more attention to the greenhouse affect and how it affects the World.
Is there anything you could do to contribute to the reversal: Pay more attention to the affect these rising and dropping temperatures have on our world.
List three things you learned from this article in your own words. I learned that temperature really does play a big role on Earth. I learned that these rising tempertures are predicted to cause 30% of the bird species to become extinct by 2100. I also learned that these rising temperatures will cause many disease to outbreak causing many other problems.
What impact would the continuance of these process have on the biosphere? If temperatures continue to drop many species would become extinct causeing a shift in the ecosystem.
