Photosynthesis

http://www.sciencedaily.com/articles/p/photosynthesis.htm

Summary: Photosynthesis is the synthesis of sugar from light,carbon dioxide and water, with oxygen as a waste product.It is the most important biochemical pathway that all life depends on. Most plants are photoautotrophs which means they are able to synthesize food from inorganic molecules to light energy. Photosynthesis occurs in algae,plants,and some bacteria.

Photosynthesis

What is the chemical equation for photosynthesis?6CO2 + 6H2O ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2

What organelles are involved in this process? Chloroplast

List three things you learned from this article in your own words.I learned that plants make sugar,oxygen,and use light for energy.

What impact would the absence of this process have on the biosphere?Plants will start dying and life on Earth would not be the same.
