Twenty-five years after AIDS was first discovered, scientists have found out were HIV came from. They came from wild chimpanzees in Cameroon. It took alot of years and hard work to discover this.

What are the symptoms of this disease? The person with this disease doesn't show symptoms until 5 or 6 years later and the symptoms are chest pain, cough, fatigue, fever, headache, rash, abdominal pain, shortness of breath, night sweats, vomitting, diarreah, weight loss, failure to get children, ect.
How is this disease passed from person to person? sexually, by birth, needles, ect.
List three things you learned from this article in your own words. I learned that HIV came from a chimpanzee, I also learned that the first human to be infected with HIV was from Kinsshasa
What impact does this disease have on the US economy? The government takes money out of our checks to help pay for their medicine & their medicine costs alot of money . I think that this is destroying the U.S.
